Textron Aviation is marking 45 years of operations at its Tampa, Florida service centre, which has supported Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker operators since opening in 1981.
The facility has expanded steadily over the decades as customer requirements and Textron Aviation’s product portfolio have evolved, becoming part of the company’s wider global customer support network.
Greg Payne, General Manager, Tampa Customer Service Centre at Textron Aviation, says: “Marking 45 years in Tampa reflects the experience and dedication of the people who support customers every day.
“Their deep knowledge of our aircraft and long-term relationships with customers continue to set this team apart and reinforce the value of having service close to where customers operate.”
Located at Tampa International Airport, the service centre operates from approximately 92,200 square feet and typically supports between 40 and 45 aircraft simultaneously, depending on aircraft type.
The facility provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, avionics upgrades and modifications, repaint work and interior refurbishment services for Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft.
Aircraft-on-ground support is also provided through Go Teams and mobile service teams operating from the Tampa base.
