Steiner expands Ohio base for Embraer maintenance
Added hangar space at Akron-Canton Regional Airport increases heavy maintenance capacity for Embraer regional and business aircraft.

Steiner Aviation International has expanded its maintenance operation at Akron-Canton Regional Airport with a 12,000 sq ft hangar focused initially on Embraer 135 and 145 aircraft.

The Ohio-based maintenance and avionics specialist has also added specialised tooling and expanded its Embraer technical team as it increases support for mid-sized and super-midsized business jets and regional jets.

The facility is already operational and will handle heavy maintenance, scheduled inspections and related maintenance work on Embraer aircraft.

“For more than 25 years, Steiner Aviation has built a solid reputation on providing quality avionics and maintenance services and putting a priority on customer and vendor relationships,” says Kevin Steiner, owner and general manager at Steiner Aviation International. “Our recent expansion and additional capabilities geared towards Embraer mid-sized and super mid-sized business jets are a natural progression, and we look forward to building lasting relationships within this segment as we have always done.”

Steiner Aviation International also provides avionics installations, repair and inspection services from its Akron, Ohio base.
