EmptyLegFinder.aero pitches 22,000 flights
More than 4,000 US travellers have consulted the platform since February, as the company expands pricing transparency tools for private aviation.

Empty-leg marketplace EmptyLegFinder.aero has processed and archived more than 22,000 US private jet empty-leg flights since launching publicly on 18 February 2026.

Operated by ACOM Aviation Limited, the platform continuously tracks between 1,800 and 2,000 live empty-leg flights at any given time, giving travellers real-time visibility into a segment of private aviation that has traditionally been fragmented and difficult to access.

Empty legs are repositioning flights that operators discount to recover costs on otherwise non-revenue sectors, often providing one of the lowest-cost entry points into private aviation.

EmptyLegFinder.aero aggregates inventory from US Part 135 operators into a searchable platform that connects travellers directly with operators rather than acting as a broker.

Between 5% and 10% of flights currently listed on the platform include transparent published pricing from operators, with expanding that share forming part of the company’s development roadmap.

“What Kayak did for airline travel, EmptyLegFinder.aero is doing for empty legs; putting transparent pricing and live inventory directly in the hands of travellers, so they can shop the market themselves rather than rely on whoever happens to call them back,” says Tariq Deir, founder and CEO of EmptyLegFinder.aero, an ACOM Aviation Limited company. “The private flyer has been the least-served participant in this market for too long. Our job is to change that, flight by flight, operator by operator.”

Since launch, more than 4,000 US travellers have used the platform, generating more than 350 direct operator contact requests through its interface. Members also receive automated alerts when matching empty-leg inventory becomes available on preferred routes.

The company is also developing a price estimation tool using its growing archive of historical flight data to help travellers benchmark quoted prices and negotiate with better market visibility.
