A refreshed exterior paint scheme completed by Duncan Aviation has given a Bombardier CL604 a stronger ramp presence through a design centred on American-inspired styling and cleaner visual balance.
Completed at the company’s Provo, Utah, facility, the project paired designer Amie Jensen with the aircraft owner’s director of maintenance to refine a concept built around a red, white and blue palette.
The original design featured a solid blue belly extending into the tail section, which Jensen believed created a visually heavy appearance toward the rear of the aircraft. The final scheme introduced revised striping and a mirrored red accent in the aft fuselage to improve overall flow and continuity. A custom logo installed near the entry door tied the aircraft back to the owner’s family business and added a more personal design element.
“The scheme was already there,” says Jensen. “It just needed that shift in the tail to make everything connect.”
According to Duncan Aviation, the completed exterior was intended to reflect American heritage without becoming overly elaborate, while also strengthening the aircraft’s long-term visual identity.
