Titan strengthens aviation risk with insurance acquisition
The acquisition Ouzel Services, Inc., brings new operational expertise and brokerage capability into Titan Aerospace’s risk offering, strengthening support for operators and aviation businesses across the US market.
Erik Everson, founder of Ouzel Services, has joined Titan Aerospace Insurance as part of its latest acquisition.

Titan Aerospace Insurance (TAI), a subsidiary of Titan Aviation Fuels, has acquired Ouzel Services, Inc., an aviation-focused insurance firm based in Redding, California. As part of the deal, founder Erik Everson joins the TAI team, bringing experience across aviation operations, insurance strategy and client-focused risk management solutions.

A third-generation aviator, Everson founded Ouzel Services, Inc. and co-founded Jefferson Aviation Insurance Solutions, where he specialised in supporting aviation clients with insurance renewals, coverage strategies and risk management solutions.

Everson also previously worked as a commercial insurance broker with Jefferson Financial & Insurance Services, advising business owners on insurance programmes and tailored coverage strategies through a service-driven approach.

Earlier in his career, Everson spent more than six years with Air Shasta Rotor & Wing as an A&P mechanic apprentice and line service technician. Through helicopter operations, maintenance and airport services, he developed an operational understanding of aviation that continues to shape his client-first approach.

"The acquisition of Ouzel Services and addition of Erik to our team represents another exciting step in TAI's continued growth," says Jon Downey, CEO of TAI. "Erik's operational aviation background, insurance expertise and relationship-driven approach align perfectly with the values and service commitment we bring to our clients across the aviation industry."

TAI continues to expand its capabilities and service offering, providing aviation insurance solutions designed to support FBOs, operators and aviation businesses across the USA.
