Duncan draws on sports car influence for Gulfstream GIV
After exploring multiple concepts, the team developed a striped design that emphasises energy and forward movement. The result is a performance-driven paint scheme that reflects the owner's passion for speed.
The lower portion of the aircraft remains clean and white, providing a crisp foundation, while bold, angled stripes rise from the nose toward the tail.

Drawing inspiration from high-performance sports cars, Duncan Aviation recently completed a striking exterior paint project on a Gulfstream GIV at its full-service facility in Provo, Utah, helping the owner create a distinctive aircraft that stands out on the ramp and reflects their personal style. The design captures a sense of speed and motion, even while the aircraft is standing still.

Senior lead designer Molly Pfeiffer collaborated closely with the aircraft's owner, who was drawn to the sleek, dynamic aesthetics of luxury sports cars. After exploring multiple concepts, the team developed a striped design that emphasises energy and forward movement.

The lower portion of the aircraft remains clean and white, providing a crisp foundation, while bold, angled stripes rise from the nose toward the tail. This directional flow creates the illusion of air moving over the fuselage, reinforcing the sense of motion.

By concentrating colour along the upper section of the aircraft and incorporating tones inspired by exotic performance vehicles, the design achieves a balance of visual impact and refinement.

The result is a modern, performance-driven paint scheme that reflects the owner's passion for speed. The paint application showcases Duncan Aviation's ability to translate inspiration from other industries into distinctive aircraft designs while helping owners create visually distinctive aircraft that enhance presence, identity and long-term value.
