Dart Aerospace, a Canadian helicopter aftermarket support provider, has received a new Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) STC for enhancements to its Fire Attack System Model 304, designed for medium Bell 205, 212, 412, AB412 and UH-1H helicopters.

These latest upgrades are designed to improve operational efficiency, safety and mission capability. They include an improved stowable hover pump kit, a new emergency jettison switch integrated into the primary flight control and the capability to perform unaided night hover refills.

The Fire Attack System Model 304 features a belly-mounted carbon fibreglass tank with a capacity of 1,420 litres (375 gallons) of water or 114 litres (30 gallons) of foam retardant, providing operators with a dependable and efficient solution for wildfire suppression missions.

With its TCCA STC approval, these enhancements deliver a certified and reliable solution that increases operational flexibility and improves safety in both day and night firefighting operations.
