JHSF Participações purchases Opa-Locka FBO from Embassair
Building on the success of its initial platform, Embassair intends to develop a network of premium FBOs in key US markets, with a disciplined and selective approach. It is focusing on facilities in the US.
The facility will further enhance its service offering with the addition of US Customs and Border Protection services.

Embassair has sold its FBO at Opa-Locka Executive airport in Miami to JHSF Participações, a Brazil-based publicly listed group focused on high-end real estate, hospitality, retail and infrastructure.

The acquisition supports JHSF’s international expansion strategy in executive aviation and the development of its recurring income businesses, building on its existing platform in Brazil, which includes São Paulo Catarina Executive airport.

The Opa-Locka FBO, which continues to operate under the Embassair brand, provides a full suite of executive aviation services, including aircraft fuelling, hangaring, ground handling and passenger services, operating 24 hours a day. The facility serves both domestic and international traffic and has become a preferred gateway for a growing number of operators. Following the transaction, the facility will further enhance its service offering with the addition of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services, enabling onsite international arrivals and departures and reinforcing its position as a key international gateway.

Embassair’s success in Opa-Locka has positioned the group as a fast-growing platform in the US market, laying a solid foundation for its continued expansion. Since its launch in 2023, the facility has established itself as a high-quality operator in south Florida, earning a strong reputation among clients and industry players, driven by a focus on service excellence and a top-tier client experience.

Following the sale of its Miami FBO, Embassair will continue to actively develop its platform and pursue new opportunities across the United States. Building on the success of its initial platform, the company intends to develop a network of premium FBOs in key US markets, with a disciplined and selective approach. As part of its expansion strategy, Embassair also intends to acquire existing FBOs aligned with or upgradeable to its standards, further accelerating the deployment of its network in the coming years.

Embassair’s positioning is centred on delivering a differentiated, high-touch service model tailored to the expectations of international and high-end clientele, drawing on luxury hospitality standards supported by its shareholders, including Groupe Reybier.

Frank Devaux, founder of Embassair, who will continue to lead the development of the Embassair brand and network alongside its initial shareholder, Groupe Reybier, says: “This transaction marks an important step for Embassair, and we appreciate the contributions of our strategic partners, Groupe ADP, Groupe Reybier and Holnest to the success of the Opa-Locka FBO project. It validates the strength of the platform we have built and enables us to accelerate our development while maintaining our long-term vision of building a network of premium FBOs across the US, serving both domestic and international clients.”
