Apex of Taiwan receives offshore wind H145 D3
This delivery represents a milestone for Apex Aviation, marking the company's first helicopter dedicated to offshore wind operations and its entry into this segment in Taiwan.
Rotortrade supported the deal from the outset.

Apex Aviation, a Taiwan-based operator, has taken delivery of an Airbus H145D3 helicopter courtesy of Rotortrade. This delivery marks the introduction of the first H145D3 in Taiwan and supports the country's rapidly expanding offshore wind sector.

The aircraft underwent pre-delivery inspection, maintenance and retrofit works at Rotortrade's MRO facility in Tallard, France. Following completion, the helicopter was disassembled and transported via airfreight to Taiwan, where it was fully reassembled and returned to service by Rotortrade's technical team. This project highlights Rotortrade's ability to manage complex, end-to-end transactions combining technical expertise, logistics coordination and operational readiness.

The aircraft is expected to support offshore wind farm operations, a sector experiencing significant growth in Taiwan. The country has developed one of the most dynamic offshore wind markets in Asia, with several large-scale projects underway, including developments set to rank among the largest in the region and supply power to hundreds of thousands of households.

“We are pleased to have supported Apex Aviation throughout this project, from acquisition to final delivery,” says Aurélien Blanc, EVP and head of region APAC at Rotortrade. “This project is particularly meaningful as it supports the development of offshore wind infrastructure in Taiwan, a fast-growing and strategic market. I would also like to personally thank Wilson Kao for his trust and constructive support throughout this project, as well as the wider Apex Aviation team for their cooperation.”

Wilson Kao, chief executive officer of Apex Aviation, adds: “The arrival of the H145D3 marks a defining moment for Apex Aviation and for Taiwan's offshore wind industry. We chose this aircraft for its proven performance in demanding environments, and it represents our first dedicated step into a sector we are fully committed to building. This sets the foundation for what comes next.”

This delivery represents a milestone for Apex Aviation, marking the company's first helicopter dedicated to offshore wind operations and its entry into this segment in Taiwan.

The Airbus H145D3 is a proven multi-mission platform offering high performance, reliability and operational flexibility, making it particularly well suited for offshore wind support missions.
