The company has appointed Filipe Mendonca as VP of passenger sales in Europe, expanding its dedicated regional coverage across the continent.
“I am pleased to join Chapman Freeborn at such an exciting time for the business in Europe,” says Mendonca.

Chapman Freeborn has strengthened its European passenger division with a revised leadership structure designed to support growth across the region.

Filipe Mendonca joins as vice president, passenger sales Europe, taking responsibility for all European markets outside the UK and DACH.

Mendonca brings more than 25 years of aviation experience across airline operations, charter brokerage, ACMI, leasing and aircraft transactions. His career has spanned Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He most recently served as vice president Europe at Air Partner, overseeing trading and charter activity across continental Europe.

“Filipe brings extensive international experience and strong commercial expertise to our European passenger business,” says Reto Hunziker, president Europe at Chapman Freeborn. “This new leadership setup allows us to strengthen our presence in key core markets while also giving greater attention to regions with strong growth potential across Europe.”
