Luxaviation in Australia (ExecuJet Australia) has earned its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator, reaffirming its commitment to the highest standards of operational safety. ExecuJet Australia continues its Wingman status while advancing its safety commitment through active participation in the Flight Leader Program, supported by ongoing quarterly coaching from Wyvern.
Darren McGoldrick, VP Luxaviation Asia Pacific says, “Achieving the renewal of our Wyvern Wingman certification while advancing within the Flight Leader Program reflects the unwavering commitment our teams hold toward operational excellence across the Asia-Pacific region. Safety is the foundation of every decision we make, and the continued partnership with Wyvern enables us to strengthen our culture, embrace data-driven insights and consistently elevate the standards of service we deliver to our clients.”
The globally recognised Wyvern Wingman standard provides a safety benchmark that allows customers to assess an operator's safety performance against the industry's highest standard when selecting charter services. The scope of the evaluation includes a review and assessment of the organisation's compliance management system, internal evaluation programme, safety management system, human factors management, safety culture analysis, risk management policies, procedures and practices, emergency response plans and training programmes. Through the Wyvern Flight Leader Program, participating operators also receive complimentary access to Wyvern's integrated SMS software, which includes capabilities such as ASAP reporting, FOQA integration, CASS tracking, FRAT, FRMS and other data-driven tools designed to strengthen proactive risk identification and operational oversight.
As part of the Wingman commitment, operators share detailed safety management system and emergency response plan information directly with Wyvern, demonstrating a proactive willingness to provide insight into their safety framework, risk controls and response capabilities. By voluntarily opening their programmes to independent review, Wingman operators affirm their dedication to accountability and continuous improvement. Additionally, Wingman members, including ExecuJet Australia, are eligible for a complimentary annual safety culture analysis, a comprehensive SMS evaluation and participation in Wyvern's world-class safety leader training course, further reinforcing their commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence.
“ExecuJet Australia's renewal of its Wyvern Wingman certification, combined with its active participation in the Flight Leader Program, demonstrates its dedication to going beyond baseline safety standards,” confirms Andrew Day, chief operating officer at Wyvern. “By engaging in ongoing coaching and collaborative safety leadership initiatives, ExecuJet Australia continues to strengthen its operational performance and commitment to industry-leading safety practices.”
