Fly Alliance has launched Jet Paw Lounge, a dedicated dog-focused FBO at Teterboro Airport, with opening planned for mid-April.
The facility has been designed to support a growing segment of pet-inclusive private aviation. Fly Alliance partners with pet travel specialists that charter flights and sell individual seats for clients travelling with dogs across domestic and international routes. The lounge adds a purpose-built terminal to that model, extending the experience beyond the aircraft itself.
Inside, the pre-flight environment has been structured to minimise stress. A private dog lounge allows passengers to wait with their pets, while soundproofed suites of around 100 square feet provide low-stimulation spaces. Separate zones based on size and temperament aim to ensure safety and comfort.
Aircraft positioning enables a direct walk from lounge to aircraft, removing the need to pass through conventional terminals and reducing noise and congestion.
“Jet Paw Lounge is a natural evolution of what private aviation should be,” says Christopher Tasca, president and co-founder of Fly Alliance. “Our clients don't travel without their dogs, so we built an experience that reflects that reality. This isn't about accommodating pets; it's about designing the journey around them.”
Fly Alliance expanded its presence at Teterboro Airport in 2024 and has spent the past seven years developing a personalised private aviation offering.
The company plans to extend the Jet Paw Lounge concept to other key aviation markets as demand for pet-inclusive travel continues to grow.
