NEAJets has been honoured by ARGUS as a Platinum Elite operator. Based at Republic airport in Farmingdale, New York, NEAJets is a Part 135-certified operator, offering business jet charter and management.
The Platinum Elite rating requires operators to meet the ARGUS Platinum standards set forth for an operator to become Platinum rated. Once Platinum rated, an operator can request to go beyond the Platinum rating and become Platinum Elite rated. At this level, operators simultaneously meet the ARGUS Platinum standards, which are the highest standards globally, and agree to be continuously monitored by the ARGUS team. Platinum Elite is an industry-changing programme available to select ARGUS Platinum-rated operators. The programme features real-time operational safety performance monitoring and timely visibility to significant operator changes. While traditional audit programmes require audits every two years, Platinum Elite offers continual evaluation.
“Having earned the ARGUS Platinum certification for the last 16 years, NEAJets is tremendously proud to hold the ARGUS Platinum Elite certification. Achieving the highest standard of safety in the industry is a testament to our safety culture and our entire team of dedicated aviation professionals,” says Peter Montemurro, executive vice president, general manager, NEAJets.
“NEAJets obtaining Platinum Elite proves its commitment to safety and quality as a top operator joining an elite group of 24 operators. All of us at ARGUS International Inc. have been impressed with its operation and proud to have it as a Platinum Elite-rated operator,” adds Patrick Chiles, ARGUS International vice president business aviation.
Rob Mahaffy, director of safety, security and business continuity, NEAJets, concludes: “Achieving ARGUS Platinum Elite isn't a finish line; it affirms that our safety management systems and disciplined operational standards are working exactly as intended. In an organisation such as ours, safety isn't a department; it's how we operate every day and is integral to everything we do.”
