Aziz offers financial know-how to APP
Prior to joining APP Jet Center, Aziz served as chief financial officer at Aero Centers, a US FBO business, and held multiple leadership roles at Atlantic Aviation and Ross Aviation, including as VP of M&A and development.
Aziz says his appointment comes at a good time.

APP Jet Center, a US provider of FBO and hangar services, has appointed Sharyar Aziz as chief financial officer.

Aziz will lead all aspects of the company's finance organisation, including commercial finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax and information technology. He will also join the company's executive leadership team. He brings deep institutional knowledge of the aviation business and industry, and a proven track record of strong financial and business leadership. His background and expertise will support the execution of APP Jet Center's long‑term strategy and value creation.

“We are excited to welcome Sharyar as our new CFO,” says Mark Johnstone, CEO of APP Jet Center. “Having closed the acquisition of APP Jet Center on 10 March and as we scale towards our next phase of growth, having a highly accomplished financial leader who brings relevant industry experience will be critical both in driving operational rigour, optimising our financial processes and executing a disciplined M&A playbook.”

Prior to joining APP Jet Center, Aziz served as chief financial officer at Aero Centers, a US FBO business, and held multiple leadership roles at Atlantic Aviation and Ross Aviation, including as vice president of M&A and development. Earlier in his career, he served at Moelis & Co, a global independent investment bank. He began his career at GE Capital, where he was part of its Financial Management Program (FMP).

“I'm thrilled to be joining APP Jet Center at this inflection point of growth. I'm looking forward to partnering with Mr. Johnstone, Bain Capital and the entire APP Jet Center team as we embark on a new chapter. APP Jet Center has built a best-in-class platform and an outstanding team. I'm excited to help take both to the next level,” he says.

Earlier this month, APP Jet Center announced its acquisition by Bain Capital.
