EHang has signed a partnership with Türk Telekom and its subsidiary Argela to deploy advanced air mobility in Turkey. The agreement combines EHang’s EH216-S pilotless eVTOL aircraft with Argela’s UTM platform and Türk Telekom’s 5G and digital infrastructure.
The aircraft will support regulatory engagement, validate system integration and enable early use cases including passenger transport, logistics and medical delivery. Argela will lead UTM deployment, while Türk Telekom provides connectivity for real-time operations. The partners aim to establish a digitally connected low-altitude ecosystem supporting scalable air mobility services.
“This partnership with Türk Telekom represents a decisive step toward deploying the low altitude economy in Turkey,” says Victoria Jing Xiang, chief operating officer of EHang for Europe and Latin America at EHang. “By combining EHang's certified unmanned eVTOL aircraft platform with Türk Telekom's advanced digital infrastructure and UTM capabilities, we are building a safe, scalable and future-ready advanced air mobility ecosystem. Together, we are setting the foundation for Turkey's next-generation air transportation ecosystem. We look forward to seeing our EH216-S flying over the Bosphorus Strait, providing a safe, efficient and eco-friendly aerial bridge connecting the two continents of Europe and Asia.”
Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey, adds: “Turkey is committed to embracing innovative transportation technologies that strengthen our digital infrastructure and economic competitiveness. This strategic partnership between EHang and Türk Telekom represents an important milestone in positioning our country as a leader in advanced air mobility and the low altitude economy.”
