ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
Gama Aviation has acquired Hunt & Palmer, materially expanding the scale and scope of the group's international aircraft charter broking activities.
Established in 1986, Hunt & Palmer has grown to be one of the most respected aircraft charter broking businesses with operations in business aviation, commercial, music touring, through the Premier Aviation brand, and cargo segments. It operates on a global basis with offices in the UK, USA, Hong Kong and Australia. With a reputation for the highest quality service, it has an outstanding repeat client base and longstanding connections to carriers worldwide.
Hunt & Palmer's strong identity and brand will be maintained within the Gama Aviation group.
Marwan Khalek, group CEO, Gama Aviation, comments: “I am delighted that Hunt & Palmer is joining Gama Aviation. Our two organisations have had a close connection for many years, sharing a passion for aviation and customer service. Strategically, the planned acquisition allows us to significantly increase our share of the global charter market, enter a new segment (cargo) and enhance our aircraft management offering. I expect Hunt & Palmer to play an important role in growing our business aviation activities further when we close later this week.”
Gama Aviation's aircraft management and charter business has continued to grow across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, expanding its charter offering while maintaining a highly personalised and boutique service approach. The addition of Hunt & Palmer strengthens the group's charter capability, bringing together complementary experience and expertise across multiple charter segments.
Graham Williamson, managing director, Gama Aviation's aircraft management and charter division, remarks: “In 2025, we consistently expanded our aircraft management offering by providing boutique services across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, which increased our available charter inventory. At the same time, our existing charter team has continued to build a portfolio of business. With the Hunt & Palmer acquisition, we accelerate the team's efforts in 2025 and significantly increase our attractiveness for both fixed wing and rotary aircraft owners looking for charter opportunities. We look forward to welcoming new colleagues and to investing in the Hunt & Palmer business to continue to accelerate growth and profitability.”
For Hunt & Palmer, the acquisition marks the next chapter for a business that has become one of the most respected and award-winning charter brokerage brands in the sector.
Jeremy Palmer, co-founder of Hunt & Palmer concludes: “When we started Hunt & Palmer, we didn't imagine 40 years later it would grow to be one the most respected, award-winning businesses in the sector. It is a testament to the hard work and commitment our staff that an admired entity such as Gama Aviation is keen to add Hunt & Palmer to its stable. I am pleased to be handing the business over to Gama Aviation, where I know that it will thrive in its next phase.”
Hunt & Palmer will continue to operate as it does today, with the same teams, expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality charter solutions for its clients around the world.
