SkyTrac completes Sky Connect transition with product line support
The six-month transition has concluded with SkyTrac taking over all sales, support and maintenance for Sky Connect systems across its global customer base.

SkyTrac Systems has completed the transition of all Honeywell Sky Connect customers, concluding the six-month process first announced in October 2025. The company now manages all sales, support and maintenance for the Sky Connect product line.

For more than a decade, Sky Connect systems have supported commercial, business and government operators with Iridium-based voice, tracking and messaging capability. Integration into SkyTrac’s portfolio maintains continuity for operators while aligning long-term support with a single provider.

In October 2025, SkyTrac secured an exclusive and perpetual licence to manufacture, sell and support the Honeywell Sky Connect product line. Since then, the company has worked with Honeywell and customers to transfer technical knowledge, customer information and intellectual property, completing the onboarding process.

SkyTrac now assumes responsibility for Sky Connect Tracker systems, including the MMU II, MCT and associated antennas, expanding its installed base in connected aircraft systems.

“As we complete this transition, we’re excited to welcome the Sky Connect customers to SkyTrac,” says Shane Sullivan, vice president of operations at SkyTrac Systems. “Our priority throughout this process has been continuity for customers, ensuring they receive the reliable support and service they expect. We look forward to working with all customers and supporting their operations.”
