Robinson integrates Crewchief digital records across fleet
The platform replaces paper logbooks and fragmented databases with a centralised digital record system designed to provide lifetime aircraft history visibility.
Aircraft entering Robinson’s trade-in programme will receive the digital aircraft management system as part of the rollout.

Robinson Helicopter Company will integrate Crewchief Systems’ digital aircraft management platform across its helicopter fleet, including the upcoming R66 NxG and R88 models alongside legacy R22 and R44 aircraft.

The initiative will also include aircraft entering Robinson’s new trade-in programme, expanding the use of a cloud-based digital infrastructure designed to provide lifetime visibility into each helicopter’s operational and maintenance history.

Crewchief enables operators and service teams to monitor component history, inspection intervals, airworthiness directives and service bulletin compliance through a centralised platform designed for maintenance tracking and trend analysis.

Records can be consolidated within a system that incorporates redundancy safeguards, version control and structured data organisation intended to support accuracy, traceability and long-term record preservation.

“The integration of Crewchief Systems into our helicopters represents a shift in how we support owners and operators. We aren't just delivering reliable aircraft; we are providing a digital nervous system that supports the safety, efficiency and ease of maintenance for the life of the helicopter,” says David Smith, president and CEO of Robinson Helicopter Company. “By supporting the transition away from paper logbooks, we are giving our customers the real-time intelligence they need to stay ahead of the maintenance curve and prolong the life of their helicopter.”

The platform also provides immediate visibility into airworthiness directives, inspection requirements and maintenance status with artificial intelligence assistance designed to keep documentation organised and audit-ready.

“Our role is to ensure that every record, inspection, component change and operational input is organised, traceable, and accessible in real time while maintaining the highest standards of verification and quality assurance,” says Aaron de Zafra, CEO of Crewchief Systems. “This partnership with Robinson reflects a shared commitment to safety, compliance and long-term asset integrity.”
