West Star welcomes Howell as chief commercial officer
He brings senior aviation leadership experience to strengthen West Star’s commercial effectiveness and support its expansion strategy.

West Star Aviation has appointed Brian Howell as its chief commercial officer. Reporting to CEO Stephen Maiden, Howell leads the development and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy aimed at driving organic growth and enhancing service delivery for customers.

Howell brings extensive aviation sector experience, having held senior leadership roles at Honeywell Aerospace and Textron Aviation, where he led strategic initiatives and high-performing teams.

In his new role, he oversees sales and marketing effectiveness, assessing existing approaches and driving closer collaboration across functions to ensure alignment with business objectives. He also evaluates commercial talent to position the right individuals for performance and accountability.
