JetAviva turns its attention to Latin America
Brazil has emerged as one of the most dynamic markets in business aviation, registering the world's second-largest operational fleet of business aircraft outside the United States. JetAviva is looking to capitalise.

JetAviva is making a strategic shift and expanded focus on Brazil as part of the US jet brokerage's continued plans for market leadership and expansion. Effective immediately, Timon Huber, managing director for JetAviva, will lead the firm's efforts in this critical Latin American market.

Huber, a native Brazilian and a 40-year veteran of Brazilian airframe manufacturer Embraer, will divide his time between JetAviva offices in Fort Lauderdale and Rio de Janeiro to best serve clients in the region. In addition to his new responsibilities in Brazil, Huber will continue to maintain coverage of Mexico and serve as the firm's primary contact for all Central and South American countries.

“Brazil represents a strategic priority for JetAviva as we build on decades of industry experience,” says Emily Deaton, chief executive officer of JetAviva. “With one of our own leading this effort, a professional who knows the region deeply and brings unparalleled insight and relationships, we are ideally positioned to meet strong demand and deliver the specialised, client-centric service our customers expect.”

Brazil has emerged as one of the most dynamic markets in business aviation, registering the world's second-largest operational fleet of business aircraft outside the US. Industry data shows Brazil now has more than 1,100 business jets, trailing only the US in fleet size.

JetAviva enters 2026 following a record-breaking 2025, driven by strong transaction volume and successful expansion into super-mid and large-cabin aircraft categories. The firm also celebrates its 20-year anniversary this year, marking two decades of leadership in aircraft sales, acquisition consulting and advisory services.

To support continued growth and deepen product expertise, JetAviva is also proud to announce the promotion of Egan Rzonca to sales director and market specialist for the Phenom 100. Rzonca, who joined JetAviva in 2021 after several years with Embraer Executive Jets, has been instrumental in supporting one of the industry's most effective Embraer-focused sales teams alongside Ryan Scott, president of JetAviva.

“Egan's OEM background and data-driven approach have elevated our entire Embraer programme,” Scott says. “His deep knowledge of the Embraer market is a major reason our clients continue to see exceptional results.”

In his new role, Rzonca will lead JetAviva's entry-level Phenom 100 sales efforts, bringing market insight and analytical rigour to support buyers and sellers in one of the most active segments of the pre-owned market.
