Luxaviation One, the private jet charter brokerage division of Luxembourg-headquartered business aircraft operator Luxaviation Group, has hired Helen Hollis as its new managing director USA.
This marks a key milestone in Luxaviation One's growth strategy and the expansion of its client-first charter platform across the United States. According to Luxaviation, the appointment reflects a long-term, multi-million dollar investment from the group into the US market.
Hollis brings more than 15 years of experience in the air charter industry, with expertise in passenger charter operations, key account management and senior leadership roles across the Americas. Her career includes executive leadership positions at leading global charter organisations, notably as senior vice president passenger charters, Americas at Chapman Freeborn.
In her new role, Helen Hollis will lead the expansion of Luxaviation One's US market presence, strengthening its charter offering and reinforcing its global capabilities. A core focus will be the development of an experienced US-based team with deep industry knowledge and a client-first mindset to support private jet charters, group passenger flights and cargo solutions. This strategic team build-up is expected to enable Luxaviation One, which was launched late last year, to respond to a broader and more diverse range of client needs while maintaining ‘the highest standards of service, reliability and discretion’, supported by Luxaviation Group's self-developed AI tools, designed to enhance speed, precision and scalability as the US platform grows.
She says: “I am thrilled to join Luxaviation One at such an exciting moment in its development. As we expand our US operations, we are strengthening the company's global charter platform and broadening the solutions we offer our clients. Working alongside our CEO, Romain Alati, and a highly experienced team, our focus will be on delivering flexible, reliable and truly personalised charter solutions across private jet, group passenger and cargo services to meet the evolving needs of our clients in the US and beyond.”
Romain Alati, CEO of Luxaviation One, adds: “Helen's appointment marks an important step in the continued development of Luxaviation One in the United States, one of our key strategic markets. Her deep experience in the charter sector, strong leadership capabilities and understanding of complex client requirements make her ideally positioned to build and lead our US operations.”
Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group, concludes: “The US is the largest business aviation market in the world and a multi-billion-dollar industry, and our sizeable investment in Luxaviation One's USA platform reflects the scale of that opportunity and embraces changing realities of today's geopolitical and economic environment. Helen's appointment underscores our commitment to growth and operational excellence in this crucial market. She also brings a strong female leadership presence to a niche that has historically been male dominated, an asset as we continue to build a modern, high-performing organisation.”
The Luxaviation One team will grow from eight members by the end of 2025 to 16 by the end of 2026, blending seasoned professionals from within the group with new industry specialists.
