IS-BAO Stage III renewal is a mark of Metrojet excellence
Metrojet has been recognised as a pioneer in business aviation safety in Asia, being the first in the region to implement its own SMS. The renewal of Stage III certification underscores the company's trusted role.
Dave Yip is full of praise for his team.

Metrojet Limited has successfully renewed its International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage III certification, the highest level awarded by IBAC. This renewal confirms Metrojet's continued commitment to the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

IS-BAO Stage III certification demonstrates that an operator has a mature SMS, with safety practices integrated across all aspects of its operations. Metrojet first achieved IS-BAO accreditation in 2011 and has been awarded Stage III status since 2016, with renewals in 2019, 2022 and now 2025 with no findings in the audit.

CEO Dave Yip states: “Safety is at the heart of everything we do at Metrojet. Renewing our IS-BAO Stage III certification once again reflects the dedication and professionalism of our team, who consistently uphold the highest service standards. We remain committed to delivering safe, reliable and quality business aviation services to our clients across the Asia Pacific region.”

Metrojet has long been recognised as a pioneer in business aviation safety in Asia, being the first in the region to implement its own SMS. The renewal of Stage III certification underscores the company's role as a trusted business aviation operator.

Established in 1997 by the Kadoorie Family, Metrojet pioneered business aviation services in Hong Kong and remains one of the foremost safety- and customer-focused business jet operators and maintenance providers in the Asia Pacific region. The company offers comprehensive aircraft management, maintenance, aviation consultancy and charter services to its growing business aviation clientele, and operates under a Cayman Islands AOC, which was granted in 2025.
