Citadel secures 13 VIP aircraft projects in January
The Louisiana-based MRO has started the year with a surge in demand for advanced upgrades and 24/7 AOG support services.

Citadel Aviation, formerly Citadel Completions, has kicked off 2026 by securing 13 new VIP aircraft projects. The work includes technology and connectivity upgrades for both narrow- and wide-bodied commercial-sized aircraft, meeting demand from owners seeking modern, in-flight systems.

Based in Lake Charles, the company provides tailored modification packages that integrate the latest connectivity features. “Starting the year with such strong momentum highlights our team's exceptional technical expertise and the trust our clients place in us,” says Noel Christen, vice president of operations.

Citadel has also expanded its maintenance, repair and overhaul services with dedicated aircraft on ground (AOG) teams, offering 24/7 mobile support to reduce downtime for grounded aircraft.

As an authorised Starlink dealer, the company installs and supports Starlink business aviation kits, including procurement, installation and troubleshooting. These services are provided both in the hangar and at Citadel’s Chennault International Airport site.

All workmanship and installation services come with a 24-month warranty, reinforcing Citadel’s long-term support commitment.
