The International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) reported sustained demand and reduced inventory in the preowned business aircraft market throughout 2025. Its quarterly updates and full-year Market Portrait & Forecast highlighted rising buyer confidence as the year progressed.

“IADA released a full slate of quarterly market reports and a comprehensive Market Portrait & Forecast, documenting tightening inventories, resilient demand and a sharp rise in optimism heading into year-end,” says chair John Odegard, who is also partner and co-founder of 5x5 Trading.

The organisation expanded its global footprint during the year by appointing its first Europe-based regional director and increasing its presence at international events including EBACE and NBAA-BACE. It also added accredited dealers and verified members from key overseas markets.

IADA’s online marketplace, AircraftExchange.com, was further developed through new strategic partnerships, a refreshed board of directors and broader industry adoption.

The association also appointed new leadership teams for both IADA and the IADA Foundation and continued to support scholarship and STEM initiatives, although no further details were disclosed.
