American FBO chain Atlantic Aviation has expanded its global network with the acquisition of Cedar Aviation Services at L.F. Wade International airport in Bermuda. Well known among operators visiting the island for its highly personalised service and long-tenured team, Cedar has built a reputation for exceptional care and hospitality. While the location will transition to the Atlantic Aviation name in the coming months, customers can continue to expect the same outstanding service and attention to detail they have long received.
“Cedar Aviation has long demonstrated an exceptional level of personalised care and support for aircraft crews and passengers,” says Jeff Foland, chief executive officer of Atlantic Aviation. “Its values and service standards align closely with ours, and we look forward to building on the strong reputation it has established in Bermuda.”
Atlantic Aviation's Bermuda FBO features a 6,440 sq ft executive terminal and nearly 700,000 sq ft of ramp space. As the island's sole provider of general aviation ground handling and air cargo services, the location offers a full suite of support for arriving and departing aircraft. Amenities include concierge services for ground transportation, catering and hotel arrangements, as well as assistance with customs and immigration. The terminal also features a conference room and meeting space, while standard ground services, such as GPU, lavatory service, international trash handling and overnight parking, ensure a seamless experience for crews and passengers alike.
Earlier this month Atlantic Aviation expanded its presence in the Caribbean with the acquisition of ExecuJet's FBO at Princess Juliana International in Sint Maarten.
“The acquisition of Cedar Aviation strategically enhances our international presence and expands our portfolio of island FBOs in leading leisure and business destinations. We are thrilled to now be serving the island of Bermuda,” comments Bobby Femia, Atlantic Aviation vice president of mergers and acquisitions.
Leveraging Atlantic Aviation's global network and expansive footprint, the addition of Bermuda strengthens international connectivity while supporting the island's broader economic development goals. Enhancing access for both leisure and business aviation, Atlantic Aviation Bermuda will serve as a key gateway that benefits visitors and residents alike, reinforcing Bermuda's position as a premier destination for tourism, commerce, and global engagement.
