Rotortrade is developing a maintenance, sales and services hub in Riyadh as part of its entry into the Saudi Arabian market and the expansion of its global network into the Kingdom.
The project follows Rotortrade’s full acquisition by Saudi rotary operator The Helicopter Company in 2023 and supports a broader strategy to grow its international reach. The Rotortrade Helipark will back global operations while establishing a permanent presence in Saudi Arabia, aligned with the Kingdom’s drive to attract aviation sector investment.
It is being launched in partnership with The Special Integrated Logistics Zone Company (SILZ), which operates the Kingdom’s first Special Integrated Logistics Zone. The project supports Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy under Vision 2030 and the wider goal of becoming a global logistics hub.
The 6,000 sqm² site will span three floors and combine aircraft sales, maintenance and support services, completions work and customer reception. It will include helipads, helicopter display zones and a fully integrated service centre. A hospitality zone will welcome clients, VIPs and government partners.
Design is scheduled to be completed by February 2026, with construction expected to begin immediately and take around 10 months. Rotortrade says services will focus on Airbus and Leonardo helicopter platforms, evolving with regulatory approval.
“The Rotortrade Helipark represents our long-term commitment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region,” says Philippe Lubrano, founder and CEO of Rotortrade. “It is more than just a facility; it is a destination. Clients will be able to explore our aircraft, enjoy premium hospitality and access comprehensive end-to-end services under one roof. This project reflects our ambition to establish Rotortrade as the world’s leading global helicopter dealership and provides a unique value proposition not seen anywhere else in the rotorcraft industry.”
