TCab Tech's E20 demonstrator completes transition flight tests
Flight data confirmed design targets and flight control accuracy during the tilt phase, allowing the programme to begin its engineering development phase.
The E20’s sensors and actuators proved reliable under real-world thermal and vibration loads.

TCab Tech has completed transition flight tests for its full-scale E20 tiltrotor demonstrator, confirming control and aerodynamic performance across the tilt corridor. The aircraft showed stable behaviour and accurate handling during the switch from vertical lift to forward cruise, with telemetry results aligning with design expectations.

Testing verified the aircraft’s aerodynamic configuration, confirmed the flight control logic under dynamic conditions and validated the reliability of sensors and actuators when exposed to real-world thermal and vibration environments. The successful transition marks the E20’s entry into the engineering development phase.

The E20 programme follows a rigorous systems engineering approach. Since 2021, TCab Tech has moved from sub-scale demonstrators to the full-scale prototype, gradually expanding the flight envelope. This has enabled precise understanding of the aircraft’s performance limits and supported a controlled transition process.

Further testing, certification preparation and ecosystem integration will follow as the company continues towards its goal of providing safe, efficient advanced air mobility solutions.
