Millennium Jet Management, a Spanish private aircraft management company, has signed an LOI with the Bahraini Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, establishing a framework for cooperation aimed at assessing the creation of an AOC in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with international standards.

The LOI also includes evaluating technical, regulatory and infrastructure requirements in coordination with relevant authorities, in addition to exploring the establishment of a regional operations base for Millennium Jet Management at Bahrain International airport.

The signing took place during the participation of Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, at the Dubai Airshow 2025.

The Minister emphasised Bahrain’s efforts in enhancing its regional presence in the private and executive aviation sector by building strategic international partnerships that support the sector’s growth and expand its operational opportunities. He noted that Bahrain’s advanced regulatory environment and modern infrastructure make it an attractive destination for leading global aviation service companies, thereby widening service options for users and elevating service quality.

Abdulla bin Ahmed adds that the signing of the LOl with Millennium is part of the ministry’s efforts to create new opportunities for expansion by enhancing operational capabilities and enabling global companies to adopt Bahrain as a regional hub, contributing positively to the private and executive aviation sector and reinforcing the Kingdom’s position on the regional aviation map in support of economic and investment development goals.

Oscar Martos Hidalgo, founder of Millennium Jet Management, has expressed the company’s desire to expand its presence in Bahrain due to the country’s advanced operational environment and supportive regulatory framework. He said that choosing Bahrain reflects the company’s confidence in the Kingdom’s ability to host sophisticated private and executive aviation operations and support the company’s regional expansion.

Millennium is headquartered in Seville, specialising in private aviation services, aircraft management and operation, charter services, technical support and professional consultancy. The company operates a modern fleet that includes Gulfstream Aerospace, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft, and follows a flexible operating model that enables it to provide global services without reliance on a fixed operational base, supporting its expansion across international markets.

Valo Aviation became the first private jet operator to gain a Bahraini AOC in late 2024.
