Venture Jets has secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator by achieving Wingman status through the Flight Leader Program with ongoing quarterly coaching by Wyvern. This new commitment reflects the company's dedication to rigorous safety standards and operational efficiency at every level.
Established in 1994 and based at Lancaster airport in Pennsylvania, Venture has grown from a single-aircraft charter operation into a trusted provider of private charter flights, aircraft management, acquisition consulting, and critical medical transport services, including organ transplant and surgical team missions. It operates the Pilatus PC-24, Piaggio P.180 and a fleet of Learjets.
“Wyvern Wingman certification isn't a badge; it's a responsibility,” says David Posey, executive vice president, Venture Jets. “It validates the systems, culture and discipline our team puts into every mission we fly. Through the Flight Leader Program, Wyvern gives us the structure to continuously evaluate and elevate our operation. Our clients trust us with their time, their families and, in many cases, their lives. This certification is a testament to that trust and our commitment to flying without compromise.”
The globally recognised Wyvern Wingman standard provides a safety benchmark that allows customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best practices before purchasing services. The scope of the evaluation includes a review and assessment of the organisation's compliance management system, internal evaluation programme, safety management system, human factors management, safety culture analysis, risk management policies, procedures and practices, emergency response plans and training programmes.
“We're proud to recognise Venture Jets for achieving Wyvern Wingman certification,” adds Andrew Day, senior vice president, operations. “Its commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement exemplifies aviation leadership.”
