Gulfstream's newly certified ultra long range Gulfstream G800 has achieved its eighth city-pair speed record en route to the Dubai Airshow 2025. This latest record was completed on a flight from Phuket, Thailand, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates and accomplished in five hours, 38 minutes. The record was joined by seven others, which include Miami to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 12 hours, 33 minutes and Florence, Italy, to Savannah, Georgia in nine hours, 33 minutes. This latest record brings the total city-pair speed records for the Gulfstream fleet to more than 760.

“Setting eight speed records this quickly following its August entry into service is a powerful testament to the tremendous capabilities of this aircraft,” says Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “We are already seeing overwhelming interest and demand for the G800 and are pleased to be showcasing it in Dubai this week. The Middle East continues to be a strong region for Gulfstream, and we are looking forward to meeting with our customers as well as prospective customers.”

The G800 is on display in Dubai alongside the Gulfstream G700, which just surpassed 90 city-pair speed records. Recent, notable city-pairs for the G700 include Dubai to Sydney in 12 hours, 50 minutes; Jakarta, Indonesia, to Lagos, Nigeria, in 12 hours, 41 minutes; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to London in seven hours, 48 minutes; and Dubai to Hong Kong in six hours, 30 minutes.
