Jet Aviation begins operations at Miami-Opa Locka FBO
Initial operations at Jet Aviation’s new Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport FBO have begun, with full completion planned for mid-2026.
The company's Miami FBO will offer sustainable aviation fuel through its global Book & Claim programme.

Jet Aviation has launched initial operations at its new FBO at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport in Florida. The facility is the company’s 12th in the US and joins a network of around 30 FBOs worldwide.

The 27-acre site is located on the west side of the airfield and will include an 8,500 square-foot Silver LEED-certified terminal, a 540,000 square-foot ramp able to accommodate large-cabin business jets, and a 4,800 square-foot space for on-site US Customs and Border Protection. Two 20,000 square-foot private-use hangars with office support are also being built, each with capacity for multiple large-cabin and ultra-long range business jets.

Construction is underway on the ramp, taxiway connections and fuel farm. The facility will also offer sustainable aviation fuel through Jet Aviation’s global Book & Claim programme, with plans to move to a physical supply once fully operational.

“Jet Aviation set up its first FBO in the US in 1984, and since then we have been committed to evolving our presence in the region to support our customers when and where they need us,” says David Best, senior vice president regional operations Americas at Jet Aviation. “Miami continues to develop as a business aviation hub for both domestic and international travel, offering a global gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean.”
