Metro welcomes three air medical partners
Children’s Nebraska, LifeFlight Eagle and Vanderbilt LifeFlight join Metro Aviation’s growing network, expanding access to critical care transport across the US.

Metro Aviation, an air medical transport and aircraft completions provider, has welcomed three partners to its operations family: Vanderbilt LifeFlight, LifeFlight Eagle and Children’s Nebraska. The healthcare organisations join Metro’s expanding network of air medical programmes focused on patient-centred, safety-led transport solutions.

Children’s Nebraska, based in Omaha, is launching air medical services with Metro Aviation and adding an EC145 helicopter to its fleet. The partnership strengthens the hospital’s capacity to deliver lifesaving paediatric care across the region, supported by Metro’s extensive experience in paediatric and neonatal transport operations.

LifeFlight Eagle, headquartered in Kansas City, serves rural communities across Missouri and Kansas and has a long history as the country’s fifth air medical programme. Its new partnership with Metro reflects a shared commitment to quality, safety and clinical excellence, ensuring continued delivery of reliable and compassionate care when minutes matter most.

Vanderbilt LifeFlight, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is one of the most respected air medical programmes in the US and a long-time advocate for innovation in critical care transport. Metro Aviation will support Vanderbilt as it continues to raise the bar for critical care transport in the Southeast.

“These partnerships represent the heart of what Metro stands for: supporting world-class healthcare organisations in their mission to serve communities and save lives,” says Metro Aviation VP Todd Stanberry.
