CHC focuses its energy on Equinor contract
Under a new contract, CHC will operate three Sikorsky S-92 helicopters from Bergen to serve key Equinor installations, including Troll, Gullfaks, Oseberg, Martin Linge, Statfjord, Kvitebjørn and Valemon.
S-92s are considered the ideal machines for the mission profile.

CHC Helikopter Service has been awarded a new contract by energy company Equinor for crew transportation services from Bergen, Norway.

Under the new contract, CHC will operate three Sikorsky S-92 helicopters from Bergen to serve key Equinor installations, including Troll, Gullfaks, Oseberg, Martin Linge, Statfjord, Kvitebjørn and Valemon. Operations are expected to begin in May 2026 for a fixed term until December 2028, with the potential for extension until the end of 2030.
