Metrojet Engineering Clark installs first Starlink on G450
The Philippine MRO completed its first Starlink installation since being named an authorised dealer in the Asia Pacific region earlier in 2025.
MEC completed the installation at its 7,100 sqm facility at Clark International Airport in the Philippines.

Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) has completed its first Starlink installation on a Gulfstream G450, marking a significant milestone since its appointment as one of the first authorised Starlink dealers in the Asia Pacific region in March 2025.

The installation demonstrated MEC’s technical proficiency and readiness to deliver advanced inflight connectivity solutions. Following the successful completion, the company has already received additional requests for further installations, reflecting customer confidence in its maintenance and engineering capability.

“This successful installation is a reflection of our team’s capability and commitment to embracing advanced technologies,” says Metrojet Engineering Clark general manager Rudgen Guzman. “We are honoured to be chosen as a Starlink authorised dealer and pleased to validate that decision through our performance, reinforcing MEC’s position as a reliable and forward-thinking MRO partner to Starlink and our valued clients.”

Metrojet Engineering Clark operates a 7,100 sqm hangar at Clark International Airport in the Philippines, offering hangar and ramp parking as well as full repair station services. The facility holds approvals from authorities including the Civil Aviation Authority of The Philippines (CAAP), the United States FAA, the Cayman Islands CAA, the Qatar QCAA, the Isle of Man CAA, the San Marino CAA, the Korea MOLIT, the Indonesia DGCA and the Bailiwick of Guernsey DCA.

The company continues to provide heavy and line maintenance support for business jets across the Asia Pacific region.
