Jet Aviation grows US fleet and marks 40 years
The company has added 22 aircraft to its US aircraft management and charter fleet, of which 10 are available for charter, growing its US managed and charter offerings under its Part 91, 125 and 135 certificates.
From midsize to ultra long-range, Jet Aviation is introducing new aircraft to service customers wherever and whenever needed.

Jet Aviation has expanded its US managed and charter fleet with 22 aircraft, 10 of which are available for charter under the company’s Part 135 certificate.

“We are proud to see continuous momentum in our managed fleet and charter offerings,” says David Dalpiaz, vice president flight services in the Americas. “We are committed to providing our customers with fully tailored, comprehensive management solutions that meet their specific needs. The ongoing growth of our fleet is a testament to the trust our customers are placing in us, and we are honoured to be their partner of choice. As a fully integrated business aviation partner, we offer services and solutions that touch every stage of aircraft ownership and charter, and we are committed to ensuring an effortless experience.”

“With each new addition to our Part 135 certificate, we are strengthening our ability to deliver to our charter customers an expansive scope of choices to meet their needs,” adds Leslie Cheshier, vice president of owner and charter services. “From midsize to ultra long-range, we are pleased to introduce new offerings that service our customers wherever and whenever they need us. Alongside our existing fleet, these new additions ensure that we continue to offer our customers choices that fit their travel needs.”

The company is celebrating 40 years of Jet Aviation Flight Services (JAFS), the US aircraft management and charter division.

Formed in 1985, by 1988 it had acquired Executive Air Fleet, expanding its presence in the US market with some 100 aircraft under management. Today, JAFS serves as Jet Aviation’s dedicated US hub for aircraft services, including management and charter under the company’s Part 91, Part 125 and Part 135 certificates.

“From our beginning in 1985 to our growth and evolution into the Jet Aviation aircraft services we know today, we are proud of the legacy we’ve built and the tenure of our JAFS team,” says Dalpiaz. “We are uniquely backed by a global portfolio of services, offering a fully integrated, end-to-end experience for customers throughout their aircraft ownership journey. Our committed team of experts take pride in ensuring the highest standards of safety and personalised service, and we look forward to continuing to provide effortless aircraft ownership into the next decade.”

Over the last 40 years, Jet Aviation has acquired a diverse fleet of fixed and rotary wing aircraft, from midsize to large cabin, long-range and ultra long-range business jets. Under its Part 91, Part 125 and Part 135 certificates it provides a full spectrum of aircraft solutions, including Part 145 maintenance, staffing, trip coordination, completions and pre-purchase oversight, operations and maintenance management, inflight services, regulatory compliance and client services. The JAFS team works in coordination with Jet Aviation’s global network of some 50 locations worldwide to provide aircraft owners with management, charter, staffing, maintenance, completions and fixed base operations.

“We have a dedicated JAFS team comprised of aviation professionals with deep understanding and experience in guiding owners, operators and clients through every stage of aircraft ownership and charter management,” says Cheshier. “These 40 years have been made possible by their passion and commitment to upholding every aspect of our operations while delivering an effortless experience, ensuring flexibility, reliability, safety and seamless tailored support.”
