ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
Charter broker ACC Aviation has partnered with Experience Epic Events, a US-based destination management and luxury event production company, to create transformative, customised and unique experiences for the business and incentive travel market.
Launched at IMEX 2025 in Las Vegas, the collaboration combines ACC's private aviation expertise with Epic’s skill in curating dynamic destination events, incentive programmes and bespoke celebrations.
“There are clear shifts in attendee preferences,” says Jamie Harris, president Americas, ACC Aviation. “Research from many organisations including SITE Global (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence), indicates that exposure to authentic cultural experiences, combined with the free time to explore destinations on their own, is what people enjoy. ACC Aviation and Epic add greater value by guiding customers on how to maximise enjoyment and exposure to these experiences for their teams.”
“We’re seeing a growing desire for fresh, innovative environments that stimulate creativity, foster adventure and forge stronger team dynamics,” adds Sarah Martin, founder and CEO of Experience Epic Events. “The untapped potential of new destinations that people find inspiring and businesses consider to be strategically beneficial can help build a dynamic corporate culture and contribute to sustainable growth.”
According to recent research conducted by the Events Industry Council, the overall business events industry is valued at $1.07 trillion, with the incentive travel sector representing approximately 7 per cent of this total and generating around $75 billion. This sector is the fastest growing and highest per capita spend category of all business events, and despite some economic uncertainties, it is expected to experience long-term growth driven by the need for face-to-face interactions.
“Networking, collaboration and knowledge exchange continue to drive meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) events, but incentive travel is increasingly about more than just movement from A to B,” Harris adds. “We see companies using these programmes to entertain their most valued clients and suppliers, as well as reward their own high-performing teams. By combining private jets and larger group commercial charter solutions with Epic’s creative event design, we’re giving businesses a way to deliver unforgettable experiences while promoting their brand in powerful ways.”
The partnership is one of several ways ACC supports clients across MICE, corporate, nonprofit and creative industries. For companies seeking a single point of contact, the ACC/Epic model offers fully integrated travel and experience coordination. For others, ACC continues to collaborate with event planners, agencies, incentive houses and DMCs, offering white-labelled or standalone air charter support as part of broader programmes.
“Aviation is and will always be our core,” Harris emphasises. “No matter how you build your programme, we’re here to get your people there, safely and seamlessly.”
From multi-day wellness retreats on remote coastlines to secret destinations accessed by private jets with a curated programme to match, each experience is fully customised. While sample itineraries can provide inspiration, every detail of a bespoke travel event is curated by ACC and Epic to reflect each company's objectives. “Employees no longer want to simply visit a destination; they want to have an incredible experience with their colleagues,” Martin affirms. “Together with ACC, we can deliver extraordinary itineraries where travel and destination combine to inspire, transform and connect.”
