Textron celebrates 35 years at Milwaukee service centre
The facility has provided comprehensive maintenance and support for Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft, including avionics upgrades, engine overhauls and on-site mobile services.
The facility has grown into a cornerstone of Textron Aviation's domestic service network.

Textron Aviation’s Milwaukee service centre is celebrating 35 years of dedicated support for Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker customers across the US Midwest and beyond. Located at Milwaukee Mitchell International airport, the facility has grown into a cornerstone of Textron's domestic service network, providing comprehensive maintenance and support for nearly all aircraft models in the company’s fleet.

“Marking 35 years in Milwaukee is a proud milestone for our team and is a reflection of the trust our customers place in us,” says Steve Kruk, general manager of the Milwaukee service centre. “Throughout the decades our employees have built lasting relationships that go far beyond aircraft maintenance. These bonds are the reason customers continue to return, and they're what inspire our team to show up every day with pride, purpose and a commitment to excellence.”

Originally established in 1990 as a dedicated Cessna Citation service centre, the Milwaukee facility now supports Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft across a full suite of aftermarket services. The 42,000sq ft hangar can accommodate 18 to 24 aircraft depending on size, while a highly skilled team of technicians and aviation professionals delivers scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, airframe inspections, avionics upgrades, engine overhauls and pre-purchase evaluations.

The service capabilities have extended beyond the hangar with the addition of two mobile service units and a Go Team, both equipped to deploy rapidly and provide on-site support wherever customers need it. Two employees have been with the service centre since its opening, contributing decades of experience and continuity. This longevity is mirrored in the customer base, with some operators returning to the facility year after year.
