Pro Star gains EASA approval for Manchester, NH
The certification enables Pro Star to perform maintenance on European aircraft in the U.S., expanding support for international business aviation operators.
The certification recognised Pro Star’s capability to meet EASA’s rigorous standards.

Pro Star Aviation has gained European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 repair station approval for its Manchester, New Hampshire facility. This certification allows the company to perform maintenance, upgrades and inspections on European-registered aircraft in the United States.

The approval was granted under the U.S.-European Union bilateral safety agreement and recognises Pro Star’s capacity to meet EASA standards and requirements.

“EASA approval strengthens our ability to support OEM partners and European operators,” says Jeffrey Shaw, director of sales and marketing at Pro Star Aviation. “With our close proximity to major East Coast destinations, we can now provide faster, more comprehensive service to international business aircraft flying into the U.S.”

The approval considerably expands Pro Star’s reach in supporting international operators, particularly those travelling through East Coast hubs such as Boston and New York. Alongside FAA and Transport Canada certifications, it places the company in a unique position to support a broad base of aircraft owners worldwide.

Headquartered at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire with further sites in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Portland, Maine, Pro Star is an authorised service centre for Dassault, Embraer and Pilatus. The company specialises in avionics upgrades, in-flight connectivity, special mission modifications and aircraft sales. It is part of the Laughlin Family aviation group of companies, established in 1948 with additional operations in FBO, airline services and aircraft de-icing.
