Hawker and Beechjet 400 series gain PWI LED potential
PWI LEDs use the original aircraft wiring and the 28V supplied by the aircraft. This means no more fluorescent high voltage inside the cabin, potentially creating electrical interference or ongoing lighting maintenance labour.

PWI has announced PMA approval of its LED cabin lighting system for Beechjet/Hawker 400A and 400XP light jets. While the first group of 400 series aircraft approvals occurred earlier in 2025, this final group of aircraft includes the widest serial number range and largest number of registrations.

“Our goal was to leverage our five decades of aircraft lighting experience and bring the 400 series Beechjet cabin experience up to today's standard,” states Robi Lorik, president, PWI. Popular for business and charter missions, they currently are and in the past have been used in the military as well.

This LED cabin lighting system from PWI replaces ageing fluorescent lights with new LEDs, creating a completely updated cabin experience. Like other PWI LED cabin lighting upgrades, this one also eliminates fluorescent light flicker, hum, buzz, ongoing maintenance and costly high voltage fluorescent power supplies.

PWI LEDs use the original aircraft wiring and the 28 volts supplied by the aircraft. This means no more fluorescent high voltage inside the cabin, potentially creating electrical interference or ongoing lighting maintenance labour.

PWI cabin LED lighting systems are 4,000K neutral white, offer 100,000-hour service life and create no heat inside the passenger cabin. The new LEDs are created to match the light lengths found in the original fluorescents.

This LED cabin light system replaces all of the fluorescent lights and power supplies with the illustrated parts catalogue part numbers, 25100-1 XX and 250003-XX.

All PMA-approved LED cabin lighting systems have a three-year PWI warranty.

PWI has been an OEM vendor of fluorescent cabin lights for business jets such as the Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Cessna Citation, Challenger, Learjets and King Air turboprops for decades. FAA-approved LED aviation upgrades can be purchased direct or through its growing authorised dealer and distribution network.
