ACE 2026 - The home of global charter.
The bimonthly news publication for aviation professionals.
SkyAccess has publicly launched a booking platform for private jet empty-leg flights, making tens of thousands of flights worldwide accessible to travellers that were previously hidden behind broker networks or internal operator systems. The platform transforms one of aviation's largest inefficiencies, namely repositioning flights flown without passengers, into a transparent marketplace for last-minute private jet travel.
“Private jet travel has always been seen as wasteful and out of reach,” notes Daniil Buriev, co-founder and CEO of SkyAccess. “We're changing that by giving travellers direct access to flights that would have flown empty anyway. It's more efficient and finally makes private aviation accessible.”
Industry reports estimate that around 40 per cent of private jet flights reposition without passengers (Business Airport International, 2025; Transport & Environment, 2022). These flights represent billions in unrealised revenue annually. SkyAccess publishes real-time inventory on its flight portal with clear pricing, converting that hidden capacity into a public offering.
Since its soft launch earlier this year, SkyAccess has gained strong traction across the US, with more than 30,000 users registered nationwide, 60 per cent being first-time private flyers, making savings of 60-80 per cent compared to retail charter pricing, flying on more than 10,000 active flights, representing one of the largest empty-leg inventories worldwide, on popular routes include New York-Miami, Los Angeles-Las Vegas, Aspen and the Bahamas.
