Stuttgart service centre celebrates a decade of Textron support
Textron Aviation’s network has marked a decade in Stuttgart, doubling hangar space and service capacity after its 2021 expansion to meet customer demand.
The Stuttgart team began as a line station before becoming a satellite centre.

Textron Aviation’s Stuttgart satellite service centre has reached ten years of serving Cessna and Beechcraft customers in Germany. As a satellite to the company’s service centre in Düsseldorf, Stuttgart offers maintenance, interior upgrades and exterior modifications for Citation business jets and King Air turboprops.

“Celebrating 10 years of service in Stuttgart is a significant moment for our team; we started as a line station and have grown to become a satellite service centre for Textron Aviation and its robust global service network,” says Christof Kandel, general manager of the Stuttgart service centre. “This journey has been driven by the dedication and expertise of our team. We are grateful to the employees here in Stuttgart, and their commitment to excellence has been the cornerstone of our success. I’m incredibly grateful for the passion they bring to our customers every day.”

Since opening in 2015, Stuttgart has become an important hub for Textron Aviation’s European operations. The facility expanded in 2021, doubling its footprint to 12,000 square feet in response to global demand, and service volume also doubled, showing its growing role in supporting customers across the region.

Through its Cessna and Beechcraft brands, Textron Aviation maintains a global service network of 20 company-owned centres, more than 300 authorised facilities and more than 50 mobile units, offering a wide range of maintenance and support services.
