FlyMex, a Mexican non-scheduled charter operator based at Toluca International Airport, reaffirmed its commitment to safety and continuous improvement by renewing its Wyvern Wingman certified operator status through the Flight Leader Program. The programme recognises operators that prioritise ongoing coaching and safety culture development rather than relying solely on audit cycles.
The Wyvern Wingman Standard was the first charter audit standard in the industry. It evaluates operational activities, company safety records, safety management systems, internal evaluation programmes, documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training standards and maintenance operations including technician experience.
“We congratulate FlyMex on renewing its Wingman Certification, a clear demonstration of its continued commitment to safety, operational excellence and a proactive safety culture,” says Andrew Day, Wyvern senior vice president, operations. “As a Wingman certified operator participating in the Flight Leader Program, FlyMex stands out by allowing Wyvern to regularly assess its conformance to industry best practices and monitor its safety performance through ongoing engagement and coaching.”
