Elliott Aviation has installed Starlink in-flight connectivity on a Gulfstream G450 at its Peachtree-Dekalb airport facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The installation was completed within a three-week timeframe, underscoring Elliott Aviation's commitment to delivering efficient and high-quality service to its clients.

In addition to the Starlink installation, the aircraft underwent several maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance and safety. These included the replacement of the left-hand windscreen and the right-hand engine inlet, both critical components for maintaining the aircraft's structural integrity and aerodynamic efficiency. A comprehensive weight and balance assessment was also performed, ensuring the aircraft's compliance with manufacturer specifications and safe operational parameters.

“We are proud to have delivered this Gulfstream G450 with enhanced connectivity and performance capabilities,” says Bill Forbes, senior vice president of avionics and business development at Elliott Aviation. “The successful completion of this project demonstrates our team's expertise in integrating advanced technologies and performing essential maintenance to meet the evolving needs of our clients.”

The installation of Starlink's high-speed, low-latency satellite internet service transforms the in-flight experience for passengers and crew, enabling seamless video conferencing, large file transfers and uninterrupted connectivity even over remote regions. With download speeds of up to 220 Mbps and latency as low as 25 milliseconds, Starlink provides a reliable and efficient solution for business aviation connectivity.
