Aerocademy thrilled to introduce Entrol en-1000x
Aerocademy selected the entrol en-1000x owing to its G1000 comparability and Entrol's expertise in building aircraft simulators, ensuring the highest standards in realism, versatility and long-term support.
This simulator can be tested and used in Hasselt Belgium.

entrol, the manufacturer of EASA and FAA certified FNPT, FTD and FFS flight simulators, has installed an en-1000x simulator at the flight centre of Belgian flight school Aerocademy. The installation of this device, sold in May 2025 with its acceptance test completed in July, was finalised in August 2025.

This project stands out for the simulator's versatility, which will allow Aerocademy to cover a fundamental part of its training programme, from the initial phases to the multi-engine instrument rating, all within a single device.

The key to the en-1000x simulator being installed at Aerocademy facility in Hasselt Belgium is its reconfigurability. The cockpit can operate as: multi engine piston (MEP) with G1000 avionics – for advanced training in multi- engine and instrument procedures; single engine piston (SEP) complex with analogue instruments – essential for students to master the fundamentals of traditional instrument flight; or single engine piston simple with G1000 avionics – ideal for initial familiarisation with glass cockpit systems.

This triple functionality provides the school with an extraordinarily efficient training tool that adapts to the different stages of a pilot's learning path.

This unit is a refurbished device, a testament to the reliability and lifespan of entrol's products. As part of its certified refurbishment programme, the simulator has been meticulously inspected, updated and tested at entrol's facilities to guarantee it meets the same quality and certification standards as a new unit.

To complement the cockpit's fidelity, the simulator features a 180ox40o cylindrical visual system and a database with 10 key airports for the school's operations, such as Brussels (EBBR), Liege (EBLG) and Luxembourg (ELLX). Furthermore, the inclusion of a vibration system adds an extra layer of realism by simulating the tactile sensations of flight.

Juanjo Lechosa, entrol's business manager, comments: “We are delighted that Aerocademy has placed its trust in our en-1000x. This project demonstrates the value and longevity of our simulators. Our refurbishment programme ensures that a flight school can access top-tier technology sustainably, with the full guarantee of entrol's certification and support. The versatility of this simulator makes it the perfect tool for a forward-thinking school.”

Steven Vanhacht, founder of Aerocademy, is thrilled to introduce the entrol en-1000x simulator. This cutting-edge device is now available to student pilots and licensed pilots alike, offering an exceptional opportunity to elevate both flight training and practical experience.

Aerocademy selected the entrol en-1000x owing to its G1000 comparability and entrol's two decades of expertise in building aircraft simulators, ensuring the highest standards in realism, versatility and long-term support.
