Duncan strengthens Lincoln with two appointments
Two long-serving Duncan employees have been placed into leadership roles at the company’s Nebraska base, strengthening sales and government programme operations.
Lewandowski has moved from chief inspector to programme manager, and is tasked with expanding Duncan Aviation’s government and military work.

Duncan Aviation has appointed two long-serving employees to new roles at its full-service MRO facility in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Kelly Otte has joined the airframe service sales team where he will assist Falcon airframe operators in planning for large maintenance events. His responsibilities include providing technical quotes, answering service and capability questions and scheduling visits.

“As a 25-year veteran of the company, Kelly brings a wealth of experience, dedication and enthusiasm to this position,” says Troy Nail, Duncan Aviation airframe and engine sales manager.

Otte began his career in the paint department in 2000 and later worked as crew leader in both paint and flight control before moving into service sales. His progression has given him broad knowledge of the company’s operations and scheduling. A native of Wahoo, Nebraska, he and his wife Britt have three children.

Paul Lewandowski has joined Duncan Aviation’s government programmes as programme manager, where he will expand business in government, military and special projects sectors. He will also maintain existing contracts and pursue new opportunities.

“Paul’s extensive experience and deep understanding of regulatory requirements make him the ideal person for this position,” says Dave Shipperbottom, manager of government programmes.

Lewandowski joined Duncan Aviation 24 years ago and was most recently chief inspector. His aviation career began at Continental Airlines while he earned his A&P certification. He has since worked for United Express and Rolls-Royce. He and his wife Terri have six children and four grandchildren.
