Albinati Falcon 6X completes first landing at Cannes
The operator gained certification for its 6X to land at Mandelieu following joint efforts with Dassault and airport officials.
The Dassault Falcon 6X touched down at Cannes Mandelieu at 18:00 local time.

Swiss operator Albinati Aeronautics has achieved the first landing of its Dassault Falcon 6X at Cannes Mandelieu Airport in France. The aircraft is managed under the company’s Albinati Aviation Maltese AOC and touched down at 18:00 local time.

The authorisation was the result of collaboration between Albinati Aeronautics, Cannes Mandelieu Airport and Dassault to ensure full compliance with the airport’s strict regulations. The milestone follows just a week after the Falcon 6X also demonstrated short runway performance at Gstaad Airport in Switzerland.

Located in the French Riviera, Cannes Mandelieu is known for its strict operational limits due to runway length, environmental concerns and noise abatement. Only selected aircraft and crews trained for the conditions may access the airport.

“The successful authorisation and first landing of our 6X at Cannes Mandelieu is a source of pride for Albinati Aeronautics,” says Stefano Albinati, CEO of Albinati Aeronautics. “It demonstrates both the capability of Albinati crew training to operate short runway Falcon 6X and the commitment of our teams to meeting the highest standards of safety, precision and client service.”

For charter clients, this milestone offers direct access to Cannes and other French Riviera destinations aboard a widebody business jet, with the advantages of comfort, discretion and efficiency.
