AS350 expert Meravo takes utility aircraft from Rotortrade
The transaction, initiated in January, was finalised at the end of June. Meravo's team travelled to Tallard to conduct a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) in March 2025, along with a full CAMO review and a test flight.
The helicopter, originally operated by Air Greenland, spent its entire operational life conducting transport and surveillance missions around Arctic bases and the Greenlandic coastline.

Meravo Luftreederei Fluggesellschaft, a long-established German operator with deep expertise in the AS350 platform, has taken delivery of a AS350 B3+ utility helicopter courtesy of Rotortrade, a global pre-owned helicopter dealership.

The helicopter, originally operated by Air Greenland, spent its entire operational life conducting transport and surveillance missions around Arctic bases and the Greenlandic coastline. Following its release from service, Rotortrade managed the transfer of the helicopter from Nuuk, Greenland, to its facility in Tallard, France, where it underwent 750-hour/24-month calendar maintenance.

“This deal is a textbook example of what Rotortrade offers: full control and oversight from sourcing to delivery,” says Clément Lubrano, sales manager at Rotortrade. “We defined the process and timeline clearly from the outset, managed logistical and technical steps, and delivered exactly on time.”

The transaction, initiated in January 2025, was finalised at the end of June. On June 30, Meravo's team travelled to Tallard to conduct a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) in March 2025, along with a full CAMO document review and a test flight. The sale was completed promptly, with title transfer and immediate delivery.

“This transaction also reflects our ability to bridge operational and regional markets,” adds Jean-Noël de Précigout, sales director at Rotortrade Europe. “Working with experienced partners like Air Greenland and Meravo made this a highly efficient and seamless process.”

Led by CEO Uta Hauber, Meravo Luftreederei ferried the aircraft from France to its base in Germany on July 2, with its own pilot and mechanic. The aircraft entered service at the end of July, following final customisations and certification.

This project demonstrates Rotortrade's ability to deliver quality, precision and peace of mind to its clients, managing every aspect of the helicopter transaction, from the Arctic to the heart of Europe.
