Jet Aviation has acquired AstonSky's ground handling, hangarage and FBO operations at Paris-Le Bourget airport, France. The FBO provides handling, fuelling, hangarage, on-site car parking, and services for passengers and crew.

The facility is located seven kilometres north of Paris and offers all ground handling services for passengers, crew and aircraft, including a large tarmac able to handle all aircraft flying into Le Bourget, three hangars adjacent to the FBO totalling some 3,500 square metres and accommodating up to the Gulfstream G700, office space and secure on-site car parking.

“We are committed to pursuing opportunities to support our customers where and when they need us,” says Vincent Rongier, senior vice president regional operations EMEA. “As the busiest business aviation airport in Europe, Paris-Le Bourget is a very important destination for many of our customers, and adding this location to our network of some 30 FBOs gives us another flagship destination in EMEA, enabling us to provide even more seamless worldwide connections.”

The facility was opened in 2019 and is designed with the customer in mind, featuring large, contemporary lounges, a full-service bar, crew spaces, additional sleeping rooms, offices and electric charging stations.

“AstonSky has built a fantastic reputation for the highest standards of safety, service and attention to detail,” states Joao Martins, vice president FBO operations Europe and general manager Zurich. “Its commitment to a seamless customer experience is a fantastic complement to the promise we make across our network, and we look forward to welcoming it into the Jet Aviation family and working together to build on this and to welcome customers as their partner of choice in Paris.”

AstonSky opened at Paris-Le Bourget in 2019. The facility joins Jet Aviation's network of 11 FBOs in EMEA, and some 30 FBOs worldwide.

Jet Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics with over 4,500 employees and 50 locations worldwide. Jet Aviation's offerings include aircraft management, aircraft sales, charter, completions, government programmes, FBO, maintenance and staffing.
