Aviation Safety Solutions releases animated IS-BAO course
Aviation Safety Solutions released its upgraded IS-BAO Protocol Standardisation Course and a free FAA Part 5 gap checklist to support operator compliance.

Aviation Safety Solutions has updated its IS-BAO Protocol Standardization Course to reflect the 21st edition of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, published by the International Business Aviation Council. The revised course uses animated modules to illustrate each protocol and explain its purpose, with scenario-based examples and guidance for operators undergoing Stage I, II or III audits.

The updated course includes 12 months of access for $750, with existing subscribers being upgraded automatically at no extra cost. It includes scenario-based examples and guidance for all three IS-BAO audit stages.

“A clear understanding of the protocols is essential for both effective IS-BAO implementation and audit preparation,” says Amanda Ferraro, CEO of Aviation Safety Solutions. “Our animated course transforms a dense standard into a practical, visual learning experience.”

The company has also released a free FAA Part 5 SMS Gap Checklist. Based on the full text of 14 CFR Part 5 and the FAA inspector audit question set, the checklist helps operators identify areas for improvement across safety policy, risk management, assurance and promotion.

Ferraro adds: “This checklist gives operators a head start on building or verifying their SMS in a practical, structured way.”
