North American Flight Services has opened a new terminal and hangar complex at Saratoga County Airport in New York. The 40,500 square-foot facility features a pilot lounge, executive meeting space, car hire, office suites and a forthcoming restaurant called Alexi’s at the Airport. The 20,000 square-foot heated hangar can house aircraft up to a Gulfstream G500.
The build formed part of a wider construction programme funded in part by Governor Kathy Hochul’s Upstate Airport Economic Development and Revitalization Grant. The project was delivered over 18 months in phases by McFarland Johnson, LeChase Construction Services, Murnane Construction and Callanan Industries.
“We are beyond excited to welcome guests to our beautiful new facility,” says Frank Zilka, owner of North American Flight Services. “These enhancements were thoughtfully designed with pilots, crews and passengers in mind.”
The FBO offers Jet A and 100LL fuel including a 24-hour self-serve pump, as well as maintenance, aircraft management and sales, flight planning tools, a helipad and WSI. As an Avfuel-branded location, it offers AVTRIP rewards, contract fuel pricing and Pro Card benefits.
